The complexes of famotidine and Zn2+ was investigated using D.C. polarography. The polarographic technique was used to determine the kinetic parameters (K0fh, αn) and thermodynamic parameters such as enthalpy change (ΔH#), free energy change (ΔG#) and entropy change (ΔS#) of Zn2+ complexes with famotidine. The electrode processes were irreversible and diffusion controlled.
